Your checklist to get married.

Watch the video below for your checklist to get married. Or see the Checklist,  to ensure you have a perfect marriage ceremony with out the stress. But if you get worried call your marriage celebrant before your ceremony to ensure all is ok.

Checklist

Please ensure you can tick all the items below, to ensure you can get married and it all goes smoothly.

  • Your Notice of Intended Marriage form (NoIM) has been lodged.
  • You have all your ORIGINAL documents to give to your celebrant - see below
  • Two (2) witnesses. They can be anyone as long as they are over 18 years old and speak English.
  • You have checked the start time of your ceremony (and shared this with you guests).
  • You have checked the exact location of your ceremony (and shared this with your guests)

Original Documents required before your ceremony:

  • NoIM (Original)
  • Passports OR birth certificate AND driver's licence (Original)

If applicable, you may also require:

  • divorce/ death certificates and
  • interpreter declaration.

NB. All docs must be in English or accompanied by NAATI translation.
